Good afternoon Edison Families!
TOMORROW, December 1st, is our field study to Claremore to visit The Will Rogers Museum. Students DO NOT need a sack lunch, the Edison teachers are providing a “cowboy style” lunch of bean chowder and cornbread when we return to school. If your student is vegetarian, you should pack them a lunch. Also, please send your student in their Edison t-shirt and Mayo bottoms, please don’t forget a coat!
FRIDAY, December 2nd, there is NO school for students.
We have a couple of other field studies before Winter Break. We will be going to Philbrook Museum of Art on December 7th. Unfortunately, we cannot take parent volunteers to this field study. Your student does NOT need a sack lunch; we will return to school by lunch. Then on December 20th we will travel to downtown Tulsa for a visit at The Woody Guthrie Museum and the new Tulsa Central Library. Again, NO sack lunch is needed.
December 21st will be our annual Polar Express Day in the Edison Area. Students are able to wear their PJs to school and enjoy the story and movie of Polar Express with the Edison Teachers.
