Student-led conferences were a success! Thank you to all the visitors who came and let their student “show what they know”! If you were unable to come, please contact your homebaseteacher to see when would be a good time to visit the classroom.
Overnight Forms-Last call for reservation forms and permission slips for our overnight to Camp Dakani and the OKC zoo. Approximately half of the forms have been turned in at this time. We will have another informational meeting on Tuesday, March 22 at 6:00 in the Goodall area. At this time, we need to have an exact number of people attending so that we may purchase food for our trip. If you have misplaced your form, there are extra copies on the cubbies across the hall from Mrs. Sowle’s classroom.
No homework this week!
Summer School Opportunity: Tulsa Public Schools offers a summer school program for all students entering grades 1-6. If you need an application please let your child’s homebaseteacher know. Your child’s teacher may be contacting you to recommend this program as well. Completed forms are due by April 29.
Spring Break Reading Challenge-There is a “Reado” game in your child’s home and back. This is a reading challenge from Mrs. Wilson. Bring back the form after Spring Break and give it to Mrs. Wilson to receive a little something!!
Please check lost and found! We have a multitude of jackets, hats and gloves with no owners. We have moved all our lost items to the main lost and found area in the cafeteria.
Reminder-If you drop off your child in the morning, please do so at the front of the building. If you would like to walk your child into school, please park in our lot or the church parking lot. Please do not drop off your child in the Mayo parking lot. This is a dangerous situation as many parents and teachers are trying to park their cars. Thank you for following the Mayo procedures.
Remember to return your home ‘n backs to the tubs in the cafeteria or the front lobby. The home and back committee needs them!
