Reminder!!! Goodall Pajama Day is tomorrow, December 18th.! Your child may wear pajamas to school on that day! Please make sure that PJs follow the TPS guidelines (no spaghetti straps, shorts, etc.) Your child may also wear slippers in school that day, but please send them in tennis shoes or appropriate outside shoes as we will be having recess if the weather allows. Your child may also bring a stuffed animal to cuddle with during the movie.
We will be watching “Elf” during the afternoon and enjoying hot cocoa and a snack.
Your child’s homework over the break will be to have an adventure with their Flat Stanley. Your child will be bringing their Flat Me home today. They may take their Flat Me on any adventure such as: going out of town for the holidays, ice skating at Winterfest, going to Grandma’s for dinner, etc. When your child returns to school after the New Year, they will be writing about their adventures!
Also included in their homework folder will be a Literary Genre bingo sheet. Your child can read a book about one of the subjects on the sheet and color in that square. Encourage your child to get a “Bingo” and they will receive a prize when they return to school in January!
Please make sure that your child’s cubbie is completely cleaned out before they leave on Friday. Anything left behind, besides extra uniform clothes, will be discarded on put in Lost and Found.
Please return all library books! Mrs. Wilson is having a contest and the Literacy group with the least overdue books will receive a class prize!
