Bubble-ology-We are finishing up our Bubble-ology unit this week. The students have made some exciting discoveries! Ask your child what their favorite bubble inquiry was and what discoveries were made!
100th Day of School-The 100th day of school is next Tuesday, February 2nd. We have some fun activities planned. If you would like to send a snack to share, such as cereal, pretzels, marshmallows, etc., we will be making 100 day snack bags for the students. We apologize for the late notice about the snack, so anything would be appreciated!
100 Day Project-Remember that your child’s 100 Day Project was due today. If you did not receive your 100 Day form until this week, (Hernandez and Moreno literacy), you may turn yours in next Monday, February 1st.
Goodall Overnight-The Overnight has been scheduled for April 7th-8th. We will be traveling to Oklahoma City to visit the zoo and Camp Dakani. We are busy planning the agenda for the trip. More details will follow in the coming weeks.
Babysitting Services-The 5th grade will be having another “Parent’s Night Out” for Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 12th. See attached flyer for more information.
Candy-Grams-The 5th grade will be selling Candy Grams beginning Monday, February 1st. See attached forms to order yours.
If you have questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please talk to your child’s teacher so that we can address these issues. We are available by email (addresses at the bottom of newsletter), school phone (918-925-1500) or you can make an appointment with us. We care about your child and want them to have the best experience when they are at school. Thank you for being such supportive parents!
Remember to return your home ‘n backs to the tubs in the cafeteria or the front lobby. The home and back committee needs them!
