Welcome Back!! We are so excited to start the new year with your children. It’s been a busy first week and I’m sure your kids are ready for the weekend!
Tuesday, August 30 is our Back to School night. We will be sharing information about “A Day in the Life of a Goodall”. We will share our new curriculum for both math and literacy.
We will also have information and sign-up sheets for our overnight that is coming up very soon…
Our first field study….. will be a float trip on the Illinois River! Yes, we are taking 121 Goodalls and their parents on a float trip. This trip will coincide with our curriculum of Pebbles, Sand and Silt and Habitats. We will be traveling to War Eagle Campground where will spend the night in bunk houses. The next day we will travel to Camp Takatoka to extend our curriculum by participating in different activities.
Procedures-Please review arrival and dismissal procedures. As always, we want your child to be safe at Mayo.
