Hello Armstrong Parents!
We are almost halfway through with testing! The 5th grade writing test is tomorrow morning. Next week, the 4th and 5th grade math test will be Tuesday and Wednesday, and the 5th grade science test is Friday. Again, please be sure your children are present, well-rested, and well-fed for testing! Please avoid scheduling appointments before lunch. If your child does not eat breakfast at home, please be sure they arrive at school with enough time to eat breakfast in the cafeteria. It is also vital that students have had a good night’s sleep prior to testing. This week, we had some students falling asleep during the test. Please make sure everyone gets to bed at a reasonable time the night before testing! If you would like to write notes of encouragement to your child for them to open before testing, feel free to bring them to his or her homebase teacher or drop them in one of our mailboxes!
The Armstrong overnight is coming up quickly! Parent overnight forms are due tomorrow. Please be sure that these are filled out completely - we need to know how many parents to expect at each part of the overnight. We have extra copies in the Armstrong area and emailed copies have been sent out. Expect a separate email reminder from Elyse today if you have not yet sent in your forms.
The spring dance is tomorrow at 6:30pm! It costs $3 for am Armstrong to get in (parents are free!) and it’s “geek” themed.
