February 18, 2016
We hope you had a wonderful long weekend and are ready for the next few weeks, which are very busy!
Goodall Overnight meeting is next Tuesday, February 23rdat 6:00 This is our first meeting to discuss our “Being There” experience in OKC. We will have opportunities to sign up for committees and committee chairs. We can’t have these experiences without our awesome parents. Some of the committees include cooking, shopping for food, crafts, etc. You will also have the opportunity to arrange carpooling with other parents. There will be a great deal of information to share, so please plan on being in attendance.
MAP testing is almost completed. We will soon be contacting you to view and sign your child’s test scores.
Student-led conferences will be held Monday, March 7th and Tuesday, March 8th. We will update the times in the next newsletter. This is a chance to celebrate your child’s learning by letting them “show what they know”.
Please check lost and found! We have a multitude of jackets, hats and gloves with no owners. We have moved all our lost items to the main lost and found area in the cafeteria.
5th Grade Pancake Breakfast-The 5th graders are having a pancake breakfast next Saturday to raise money for the 5thgrade trip. See attached flyer for details.
March 5th is the Mayo Auction! Your child’s Mayo family has been hard at work creating a project to sell at the auction! We hope you will come to this fun, adults-only event!
Remember to return your home ‘n backs to the tubs in the cafeteria or the front lobby. The home and back committee needs them!
