Einstein News Wednesday Fair Edition

Hello families! We are looking forward to our Fair “Being There Experience” this Friday! In hopes of answering all the questions you may have, we created a special Einstein News: Fair Edition.
Departure from Mayo: Einsteins will load buses and depart from Mayo at 9 a.m. We do not have space on the bus for chaperones. You may follow the bus if you like or you can meet us at Gate 12 entering through the Central Park Entrance. We recommend that you meet us there so that you have plenty of time to park and walk to meet us at the correct entrance. There are not assigned parking spots for our chaperones.
Tickets: If you prepaid for a chaperone ticket, please see your child’s homebase teacher on Thursday afternoonafter school for your ticket, itinerary and grouping assignments. On the back of the itinerary will be a map of the fairgrounds. We have circled the buildings we want you to visit and explore with the Einsteins.
Lunch: Per fair personnel: we are unable to bring any outside food or drinks into the fair or store our lunches inside the gates. If you are bringing a lunch for yourself, please send it to school with your child so it will be in the bucket with all the lunches. Lunch will be a picnic on the grass outside of Safari Joe’s between 10:45-11:15. Using the Gate 12 exit, you may bring your group to eat lunch whenever you wish during this time. EVERYONE MUST GET THEIR HAND STAMPED WHEN YOU LEAVE THE FAIR FOR LUNCH.
Departure from Fairgrounds: We will load buses and depart from the Fair at 1 p.m. Please have your Einstein group at Gate 12 by 12:50 p.m. If you want to sign your child out, you need to do so with your homebase teacher at this time.
Einstein Attire: Einsteins may wear jeans, jean shorts or a regular uniform bottom with either the white Mayo Einstein T-shirt or a red uniform polo shirt. We recommend wearing tennis shoes as they will be doing a lot of walking!
