Edison Update 9-3-15

Edison families,

 

Thank you to those who were able to come to Back to School night Tuesday!  We realize we bombarded you with lots of information.  We have attached the Powerpoint that was presented for those who could not make it or for those who would like to revisit some of the information.  It is obvious that we have some very committed parents and we look forward to being partners with you in your child's education.

 

Tomorrow is a Mayo Spirit Day.  This means that your child may wear a Mayo spirit shirt with regular uniform bottoms.  Spirit shirts include those purchased from the Mayo Spirit Store or any past instructional area shirt.

 

Tomorrow is also a TPS early release day.  Mayo will dismiss at 1:00p.m. so that teachers can participate in professional development.

 

Tomorrow is also the last call for Sack Lunch requests for our upcoming field study.  Field Study:  Friday, September 18th  We will be visiting Reasor's in Brookside and eating lunch at Zink Park.  We will also participate in a yoga class when we get back to Mayo.

 

Attached is the September snack calendar.  Also attached is a flyer regarding a PTA fundraiser at Taco Bueno.

 

Your child's first Home and Back is coming home today.  This is our way of communicating school-wide information.  Please remove all of the information from the envelope and return the envelope to school the following day.  Any information that needs to come back to school, please put it back in the envelope.  The office will remove papers and disperse them as needed.
