Edison Update 11-19-15

Hello Edison families!

We have had a busy week and are looking forward to next Tuesdaywhen we will celebrate Thanksgiving during our annual Community Day.  We hope to see those of you who paid by last Friday at the luncheon!  We will not have school next Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday!

You might remind your child to check the lost and found for stray jackets, lunchboxes, etc. before the break.  Check in the cafeteria and the gym.

Morning Drop-off Procedures-If you are dropping off your student in the morning, please do so in front of the building.  If you want to walk your child in, please park in the parking lot or the church parking lot and walk your child into the cafeteria.  Our first priority is to keep your child safe, so please review the morning drop off procedures.  Thank you!!

We have added a field study to our calendar!  We will be visiting the Museum of Osteology in OKC on Tuesday, December 8th.  We will leave school at 8:00 and return by 2:50.  If your child needs a sack lunch, you need to return the attached form by tomorrowNovember 20th.  If you would like to attend with us, please plan on meeting us there at 10:00 (or you can follow the bus from Mayo).  Admission for parents is $5.  Don't forget your child will get to wear their tie dyed shirt that day!

We need 60 empty water bottles (16-20 ounce size preferably with lids) for an upcoming project.  If you could send a few to school with your child that would be helpful.  Thank you!
