Your kids are showing such perseverance through this state testing and we couldn't be more proud!!
In the Home and Backs today, you will find all of the information about our overnight next week! There is also a large trash bag with your child's name on it inside the Home and Back. This is for your child's sleeping bag and pillow for the overnight. Please take time to read over the orange sheets of paper with your child. We tried to cover everything, but I'm sure we forgot something. ;) Please let us know if you have questions that were not addressed. We are super excited and the weather is looking promising!!
You will find several attachments to this email. First, the most recent Mayo Times Newsletter is attached and has some very important information from Mr. Joslin regarding attendance at school. There is also information about an upcoming chess tournament and a yummy spaghetti dinner benefitting the 5th graders.
New Parent Tours will be held this month for families with children entering grades K-5 who are interested in attending Mayo for the 2016/2017 school year! There are two tour remaining: 4/20 @ 9:00a.m. and 4/21 @6:30p.m. If you know of a family who would like a tour have them call the office to schedule on one of these dates!
There will be no Early Release Friday in May, but May 6th will be a Spirit Day. Your Edison can wear a Mayo spirit shirt with regular uniform bottoms on this day. Since no inclement weather days were used this year, the last day of school will be Tuesday, May 17th.
