Goodall Update 2-11-2016

February 11, 2016

Picture Day TOMORROW!!  FREE Dress Day TOMORROW!

President’s Day-NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 15th.

Goodall Overnight-The Overnight has been scheduled for April 7th-8th.  We will be traveling to Oklahoma City to visit the zoo and Camp Dakani.  We have scheduled a parent meeting for Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:00 p.m in the Goodall area. We will be discussing committees and the tentative schedule.  Please attend so that you can sign up for a committee or be a committee chairperson.  We look forward to seeing you!

MAP testing-We are continuing to administer the Winter MAP test next week. The students are taking a Reading and Math test.  Please be sure that they are well rested and that they have a good breakfast.

Babysitting Services-The 5th grade will be having another “Parent’s Night Out” for Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 12th.  Do you have your reservation??

Please check lost and found! We have a multitude of jackets, hats and gloves with no owners.  We have moved all our lost items to the main lost and found area in the cafeteria.

We recently had a lice outbreak in the Goodall area.  Please check your child’s hair or have our nurse check them for you.  The main symptom is scratching of the head.  Be sure to tell your child not to share their hats or scarves with friends.  This will help with the spread of lice.

Remember to return your home ‘n backs to the tubs in the cafeteria or the front lobby.  The home and back committee needs them!

Celebrations-The Rockin’ Raccoons are on stage this Friday!
