HeArtsong Creative Center is proud to begin our 4th year of afterschool theatre arts classes at Mayo. We hope your child will join us for this year’s brand new program.
Students in this fun and exciting acting and play creation workshop will travel the world over the course of the fall semester without ever leaving their school. We will visit a new country each week as we explore that country’s geography, history, culture, and traditions by acting out the stories told by its people. Talltales, legends, myths, and fairytales from mysterious, distant lands will become the windows through which students will view the rich cultural diversity of our world. Then, as we bring those
stories to life every week through the magic of theatre, students will become actors, dancers, musicians, artists, and true global citizens united by the power of stories.
Participants will also get a special “passport” to help them record and remember their travels!
