Good afternoon Edison families!
We hope you are enjoying this nice stretch of warmer weather! We have enjoyed getting to finally have some outside recess breaks!
Please remember that all Edisons will be taking the SRI again this coming Monday, February 1st. We will begin shortly after school starts so please ensure your child is on time and well-fed. Everyone has been working hard and we are anticipating seeing good growth in each student's lexile. If your child is on a Reading Sufficiency Plan, we will be sending paperwork at the end of February that will notify you of your child's progress and will require your signature. We will also send updated testing information to those not on an RSA plan, but these will not require a signature.
Next Friday, February 5th is a TPS early release day and a Mayo Spirit Day. School will be released at 1:00 and your child may wear a Mayo spirit t-shirt or instructional area t-shirt on top, and regular uniform bottoms.

Another 5th Grade babysitting night is coming up just in time for Valentine’s Day! See the information that was sent home in previous Home and Backs.
Reminder: during dismissal, if you pick your student up, you should always enter through the South cafeteria door and exit through the North cafeteria door. This allows for the safety of everyone and is not meant to inconvenience anyone. Thanks for your cooperation and consideration.
